General LED Display Questions
How do I choose the right LED display?
Start with the installation environment, viewing distance, screen size, content type, brightness conditions, and whether the display needs to be fixed, rental, transparent, curved, or close-viewing. These factors determine the suitable product category and pixel pitch.
What pixel pitch do I need?
Pixel pitch depends mainly on viewing distance and content detail. Shorter viewing distances usually need smaller pixel pitch. Larger outdoor screens viewed from farther away can often use larger pixel pitch while still looking clear.
What information should I send for a quote?
Send the target screen width and height, indoor or outdoor location, viewing distance, installation photos or drawings, application, timeline, destination market, and any preferred product type.
What is the difference between indoor and outdoor LED displays?
Outdoor LED displays typically require higher brightness, weather protection, stronger cabinet design, and better heat management. Indoor LED displays usually prioritize close-viewing detail, quieter operation, and integration with interior spaces.
Can LED displays be curved?
Yes. Curved displays can use flexible LED modules or curve-compatible cabinet systems depending on the radius, size, and installation method. Drawings or measurements are important for planning.
Can LED displays be installed behind glass?
Yes, transparent LED displays are commonly used for glass storefronts, curtain walls, and atriums. The design should consider transparency, brightness, viewing distance, mounting, and content style.
What is front-service maintenance?
Front-service maintenance allows modules or components to be accessed from the front of the screen. This is useful when the display is mounted against a wall and rear access is limited.
Are rental LED displays different from fixed LED displays?
Yes. Rental LED displays are designed for repeated setup, dismantling, transport, and rigging. They usually include quick-lock cabinets, protective structures, and event-friendly handling features.
What affects LED display price?
Price is affected by pixel pitch, screen size, indoor or outdoor rating, cabinet design, brightness, refresh rate, control system, structure, accessories, spare parts, packaging, and service requirements.
How long does an LED display project take?
Timeline depends on screen size, product configuration, production schedule, shipping, site readiness, and installation complexity. Sharing the target launch date helps the team recommend a realistic plan.
