RX3.91Outdoor, IP65500 × 500 × 88.5≥4500*700235

All six models use die-cast aluminum cabinets, weigh 7.5 kg per cabinet and list a refresh rate of ≥3840 Hz with front/rear maintenance. The 500 × 500 mm footprint covers 0.25 m² per cabinet. Average power is a catalog reference; actual consumption changes with content and brightness.

*The RX3.91 brightness entry reads “≥4500(6000)” in the catalog. Confirm the selected brightness configuration in the quotation; 6000 nits is not stated here as a guarantee for every RX3.91 cabinet.

Which R Series model should you compare?

For indoor events, compare RS1.95, RS2.604 and RS2.97 against the nearest viewing position and the required pixel canvas. For outdoor events, start with RX2.604, RX2.97 or RX3.91 and specify sunlight exposure, rain exposure and operating brightness. Indoor and outdoor modules are not interchangeable simply because their cabinet footprints match.

Worked example: a 4 m × 3 m screen

Using 500 × 500 mm cabinets, a 4 m × 3 m screen uses 8 columns × 6 rows = 48 cabinets. Its area is 12 m² and cabinet-only weight is 48 × 7.5 = 360 kg, excluding rigging, cables and supporting structure. This is a layout example, not a delivered project or a rigging load approval.

At the catalog maximum, the LED screen load is 12 × 500 = 6000 W for RS models or 12 × 700 = 8400 W for RX models. The catalog average references give 2016 W and 2820 W respectively. Power distribution must also account for controllers, other equipment and installation requirements.

For the complete calculation method, read LED display power consumption planning.

Camera and service checks before ordering

Specify camera frame rate and shutter settings, then test the chosen controller, receiving cards and LED configuration together. A refresh-rate figure alone does not establish camera performance. Confirm module access, spare-part compatibility and the cabinet wiring diagram before finalizing the order.

Use the refresh-rate buyer checklist and spare-parts planning guide with your selected model.

Request the exact configuration

Send the model, screen width and height, indoor/outdoor use, viewing distance, installation method, controller requirements, destination and target date. Request the current model-specific specification sheet and agreed acceptance criteria with the quotation.
